Meet Dr. Neil Kjos

My Story

Dr. Kjos moved to Chattanooga in 1997 where he opened his first private practice.  He received his doctorate through Life University in Atlanta, GA., and then continued his education with over 300 hours of functional medicine training and 15 years of clinical application.

Functional medicine is more than an occupation for Dr. Kjos, it is a passion and a way of life.  He is excited to help patients improve their well-being and learn how to maintain a healthy lifestyle.  Dr. Kjos works continuously to stay abreast of new clinical research in the fields of nutrition, autoimmunity, and metabolic disorders.

Dr. Kjos is also an adjunct professor of Anatomy and Physiology at Chattanooga State University.

In his spare time, Dr. Kjos is a fine art photographer, capturing interesting scenery from around the world and locally in Chattanooga.  He also enjoys hiking, rock climbing and kayaking in the local mountains.

Dr. Kjos speaks Spanish (still needs improvement) and provides nutritional services & education to the Latin American community.
